Klint Kubiak Leads Las Vegas Raiders to Impressive 3-0 Start

The Las Vegas Raiders have started their 2026 NFL season with an impressive 3-0 record, a notable improvement attributed largely to head coach Klint Kubiak’s innovative offensive strategies. Kubiak, who joined the Raiders after contributing to the Seattle Seahawks’ Super Bowl victory, has revitalized a struggling Raiders offense, increasing their average points per game from 14.2 last year to 29.3 this season.

This turnaround is particularly remarkable considering the team’s ongoing issues with the rushing attack and the absence of key playmaker Brock Bowers for two games. However, under Kubiak’s leadership and with Kirk Cousins at quarterback, the team has shown considerable offensive prowess. Their next challenge will be a crucial game against the Kansas City Chiefs, where a victory could cement their place at the top of the AFC West.

The Raiders’ offensive stats have seen a significant uptick across the board. They’ve improved in total yards, efficiency, red zone performance, and third-down conversions, demonstrating the effectiveness of Kubiak’s playcalling. The return of Bowers, who recently won AFC Offensive Player of the Week after missing the start due to a meniscus trim procedure, should only enhance the Raiders’ offensive strategy. His versatility as a tight end, capable of lining up in multiple positions, adds a dynamic layer to the Raiders’ attack.

The Raiders are also utilizing heavy personnel groupings effectively, which was evident in their recent victory over the New Orleans Saints. This approach has misled defenses and allowed for unexpected plays, which could become even more potent with Bowers back in action. With Cousins performing at a high level and the offensive line showing improved pass protection, the Raiders have all the tools necessary to maintain their winning streak and make a strong push for the postseason.
